Capabilities define “what” your organisation does or should be doing at progressively lower levels of detail, usually not to exceed more than six levels.

An organisation typically has one enterprise wide Business Capability Map (BCM) which includes core and enabling/supporting capabilities such as human capital management (HR) or Asset Management and serves as anchor model throughout transformation process by overlaying key dashboard information such as CapEx, Pain Points or Strategic Objectives.
